"This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!"

"The best hotel we stayed at in china. A small traditional bulding, two floors. With a modern bathroom, fully equiped. Beautiful designed with lovely spaces to sit around and enjoy the traditional designs and details. "This B&B is our most impressive stay during 13 day trip in East China. Charming decorations, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and most importantly, their hospitality!! Jacky is the warmest host. He did a great job in serving his guests. We felt like we are his friends rather than customers. He gave so many good advises on the Huangshan walk routing, taxi booking to Chemgkan and also good place to dinner. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and it rained In the early evening so not much chance to explore Tunxi as we wished."

"A hidden, ancient courtyard tucked away in Tunxi Old Street, featuring a stargazing loft where you can gaze at the starry sky and bright moon directly from your bed. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, I was able to lie in bed and watch the moon without stepping outside—it was truly dreamlike. The common areas are incredibly spacious; my child spent time practicing calligraphy and playing the guzheng, completely captivated. It was wonderfully relaxing, washing away all the fatigue from yesterday's hike up Huangshan."

"The five stars are for the exceptional location and the warm service from the staff. On the first day, we started hiking at 7 AM and after five hours, we still hadn't reached Bright Summit. Who understands that feeling of salvation when you're questioning your life choices and suddenly you see the hotel! We decisively checked in, abandoned the rest of our itinerary, and decided to rest up for another day before continuing. From check-in at the front desk, to the fruit delivery at night, to route consultations, all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Manager Huang for the care. The hotel is indeed quite old, you could think of it as hostel-level conditions, and the room soundproofing is poor. However, thankfully everyone is so tired they just crash, so it didn't really affect us much. The sunrise was at 6:45 AM, we woke the kids at 6 AM, and reached the summit easily in 15 minutes. After watching the sunrise, we went back to the hotel for another nap, which was wonderful. The hotel provides thick down jackets, and Manager Huang even provided two kids' sized down jackets and children's toiletries when she saw we had children checking in. The hotel buffet is 160 per person, and considering all the ingredients are carried up by porters step by step, the chef's cooking was quite good. It was very satisfying to have such a wide variety of food available on the mountaintop."

"The location is very convenient. There is an old street downstairs. It is not noisy at night. Xin'an River is a little further ahead. It is very comfortable to enjoy the breeze at night.

"I like the room very much, it's a twin room with a lot of space. Because I couldn't confirm the exact arrival time at Huangshan North, I contacted the manager Huahua just before I got on the bus, and he immediately arranged a driver to pick me up at the station. The driver in the fleet was also very nice, he dropped me off near the hotel for free, and helped me contact the uncle in black clothes in the store, who kept helping to carry the suitcases. I walked slowly with my mother. When leaving the next day, Huahua helped carry the suitcase again, feeling very embarrassed. We took another driver's car in the fleet to the hotel in Tangkou Town. The scenery along the way was really beautiful. A stay experience beyond imagination."

"The hotel front desk personnel were very friendly and kind. The hotel was centrally located on Tunxi Ancient Street and was easy to find. The express bus to the high speed train station (Huangshan North station) is across the street from the hotel and costs 5 rmb and takes about 40 minutes, so very convenient.
The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. For this price, it’s a very good deal."

"This is my second time coming to Huangshan. I didn’t climb Huangshan last time, so I gave it a challenge this time. I would like to highlight the housekeeper brother. He has worked at the top of Huangshan Mountain for several years. He is a Huangshantong. He introduced the route up the mountain and precautions in detail. He was worried that we would go the wrong way. He also added WeChat and gave us a message if we encountered a fork in the road and didn’t recognize it. He was very enthusiastic when making videos! The whole process from check-in to check-out was very comfortable. The hotel has a high-speed rail pick-up service. We came from Hefei and the hotel driver contacted us in advance before we got off the high-speed rail, which was very convenient. The hotel facilities are also very complete, worthy of a four-star hotel, but the service is better than a five-star hotel. It’s not that I don’t have enough time and I really don’t want to leave. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip and I will come again."

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!

Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

KKongxinerThis truly lives up to its reputation as the most design-forward hotel I've stayed in. The way the spaces are isolated from each other is completely unique from other hotels; each area feels entirely separate and undisturbed, almost like being at home. It's clean and bright, and the bathtub is fantastic – a soak after hiking Mount Huangshan was incredibly relaxing. It's also very close to the South Gate of Mount Huangshan, with many restaurants nearby, and the hotel offers a shuttle service.

MM485235****Facilities: The smart home system is incredibly convenient. The bathrooms are very clean and new, with a wet/dry separation, which perfectly solves the problem of not being able to shower and use the toilet simultaneously when traveling with friends. There's also a designated vanity area with a large counter, absolutely perfect for several girls to do their makeup together.
Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean. I can genuinely say that getting such a great hotel for this price is an absolute steal.
Environment: This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. It has a laundry room, foot spa, supermarket, and even robot room service. On the first floor, you can enjoy local Anhui cuisine with a discount, and they'll even deliver it right up to your room. You just order in your room, and soon enough, hot food from downstairs arrives.
Service: From booking to checking out, the entire experience felt incredibly personal. The front desk staff were wonderful, unlike the robotic, 'just doing their job' vibe you often get at other hotels. After hiking Huangshan, I booked this hotel and contacted the front desk to arrange a car to pick us up from the Huangshan South Transfer Center. In less than ten minutes, the hotel car arrived. Later, during check-in downstairs, they gave us a souvenir and some tea. The front desk service was superb, and overall, the shuttle service and all our needs were met.
If I come to Huangshan again, I will definitely stay here. Most importantly, I will enthusiastically recommend this hotel to all my friends. It's truly affordable with excellent service, satisfying even someone with high demands like me.
Absolutely amazing! I want to thank all the staff once again for their exceptional service.

GGuest UserThe accommodation has a free shuttle to/from the station, definitely a plus! It's only a 10 minute walk, but 10 minutes with heavy luggage is something you could miss. It’s a bit inconvenient that you have to call them to actually book the shuttle, because I don’t speak Mandarin and they don’t speak English, so a call would not be possible, but maybe that’s something that Trip could improve on. When I checked out, the lady told me (through a translation app) that she could drop me off at the station, which I was very happy about.
When I checked in, I got a room upgrade as well. I was alone so I didn’t really need two beds, but the the huge room was very nice after all those bunk beds in hostels! They also offer a carpooling service to the ticket office/entrance of Huangshan for a good price! Just tell them the night before that you’d like to go to Huangshan and they will arrange a shuttle for you (mine was at 7 am in the morning and I just had to message them when I wanted to go back to the hotel in the evening).
They can offer sightseeing tips, they can recommend you something to eat. Just ask and they will help you. Sometimes it was just a bit hard to communicate, the woman uses a translation app which works just fine, but the man doesn’t, he tries to explain everything in Mandarin by using gestures, writing it down in Mandarin … but then it’s obviously not easy to understand each other. That aside, they’re both so sweet and helpful. I would stay there again, if I ever come back!
Side note, Trip does not give you the correct address of the hotel (in English). Whichever map app I used, it would send me to an open space in the street of the hotel. The hotel is actually located just a bit further next to a (very good!) restaurant, but just ask someone in the street and they will bring you to the reception of the hotel, if you can’t find it. 😉
